☺️We know its forward planning but we wanted to get a date in the diary for this evening, we are hoping to make it a regular meet & greet type thing but the day of the week may vary depending on the availability in the shop.

This social event is aimed at the under 25's looking to make some new friends with similar interests 📚 We know how difficult it can be to meet new people after school &/ uni finishes and even harder to make lasting friendships in a generation of screens and swiping on first glance so we want to invite you into our creative safe space 🏳️‍🌈😊

If you're a lover of books, crafts, coffee & cake and prefer a chilled vibe over a rowdy night out then hopefully this is the event for you 📚☕🍰💜

We are open as normal from 2pm today, you may have to bear with us and I don't think any of our team slept well last night 🌙

If we're a little sluggish and make mistakes please just let us know. Apologies in advance for not being on top form 😆

🥐 In other news, because of yesterday's nonsense, we have plenty of our amazing Silver Tree 🌳 treats still available! This week we have Maple & Pecan Danishes, Cinnamon Swirls, Belgian Choc Tarts, Apple Crumble Tarts, Raspberry and White Choc Cruffins (enjoyed mine yesterday and little too much) & our 3 different sausage rolls.

Our outside space is very much open, just waiting to get a sign sorted for you 👍

📍⚠️P.s remember we're closed Sunday-Weds this week. Back open on Thursday🕑

📍⚠️Also must note, Thursday - Saturday next week (20th-22nd) there will be no GF or Vegan options available as our wonderful main baker is having a well deserved break. I will be having a larger Silver Tree order to compensate a little on the other bakes 🍰

Our downstairs book selection has expanded! Woooo! 📚📚📚

Next task starting Sunday; we change our fluorescent lighting for something cuter and sort our stock room so we know what we have ready to move into the pre-loved and can see if we have any room for upstairs additions...
...also stationary. We've been looking at independent businesses and their wares mainly traditional bookmarks, stickers and journals...❓️what else would you like to see on our shelves❓️
