⚠️ **FUN ON THE FIELD POSTPONED** ⚠️

Having spoken to members of the team this morning, we have made the difficult but sensible decision to postpone tomorrow’s Fun on the Field event.

The forecast is looking very unsettled, with the possibility of thunderstorms. Our priority is to provide a fun afternoon in a safe environment, so we must put everyone’s safety and enjoyment first.

Thank you for your understanding and support. We’ll be meeting soon to plan future dates for 2027, with options that will allow us to go ahead whatever the weather!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along to Fun on the Field today! ❤️

Thank you to all of our stall holders, helpers and everyone behind the scenes who helped make the afternoon possible.

We’ve had some absolutely lovely feedback from families. It was brilliant to see it so well supported, with such a family-friendly, chilled and relaxed atmosphere — exactly what we wanted! 🥰

And we’re not finished yet… 👀

Next month we’re hoping to have even more stalls, plus a few new ideas that we’re already working on!

Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to cancel tonight’s Fun on the Field event.

With the immense heat we’ve experienced today, we were hopeful that we would still be able to go ahead. However, the weather has now taken a turn, with strong winds, rain and thunderstorms forecast. Wind speeds on the rugby pitch are expected to reach up to 40mph, making it unsafe to erect gazebos and event equipment, with structures struggling to stay secure.

As disappointing as this is, the safety of our volunteers, stallholders and visitors must come first.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience and disappointment this may cause and thank everyone for their understanding.

We hope to see you all at the next Fun on the Field on the last Friday of July! 💙

Stay safe and hopefully we’ll have much kinder weather next time! ☀️
