Meet the Author - Carolyn O'brien

What a wonderful evening spent in conversation with Carolyn about her book Rose & Renzo. A love story set in Manchester during the inter-war period in the backdrop of the rise of facism this is a truly passionate yet political story shining a light on this very important era in history.

The shop was a buzz with attendees, prosecco was poured and the evening was enjoyed by all ✨️

This was Pear Tree Books first ever author event and there will be no doubt more on the horizon soon! 📚

Pear Tree Books first Laid Back Bookclub went down a treat! 📚

A great selection of books were shared amongst the club and it was the perfect opportunity to talk about what everyone has read recently and some great suggestions for a number of different books sprang out! Some wonderful and interesting conversations with fellow booklovers ✨️

It's official! Pear Tree Books first (laid back) Book Club! 📚

This is a chance to mix and mingle and have the shop all to yourselves for the evening! There are no set books but simply the company of fellow book lovers to chat with about what we are all reading, what you want to read and to grab some reccomendations! ✨️

Please feel free to bring your own non alcoholic beverage but light refreshments will also be served in the shop!

Attendees will also be rewarded with extra stamps upon arrival and with any purchases made 🛍
