Starting on Friday 5 June and running until Friday 14 August, the Taunton Town Football Club Lion Trail features 48 incredible lions, each representing a country taking part in the World Cup and beautifully painted by talented local art students aged 7–19.

🗺️ Pick up a trail map from Taunton Library, Taunton Visitor Centre or GoCreate Gallery in the Orchard Centre, or download one online from the Taunton Town website.

🏆 The challenge? Find 10 lions and follow the instructions on the front of the Lion Trail Map to enter the competition!

⚽ The trail concludes with a special charity football match on 23 September at Taunton Town FC in aid of the Barnaby Webber Foundation. The lions will then be auctioned, with proceeds supporting the Foundation.

🐻🚧 Bear-y Important Training Day! 🚧🐻

World of Bears will be closed all day on Monday 1 June as our bears undergo intensive cuddle-training to master their brand-new accessible ramp! 🧸✨

Don't worry — our Cheddar shop will be open as usual, and you can still adopt your next furry friend online at worldofbears.com.

The bears expect to have their training completed in record time, and we'll be back open from Tuesday 2 June to Saturday, ready to welcome visitors to see the improvements for themselves.

We hope he wasn’t too warm wrapped up in all that tissue paper on his journey to us 😅 But don’t worry — he’s now very happy relaxing in our lovely cool air-conditioned shop! ❄️🧸
