Over the last 2 days as part of arts week I have spent time with every student at Walton Primary School teaching them the new skill of willow weaving. Together they made a heron and a shoal of fish to go around the pond, a flight of swallows to hang in the trees and a caterpillar to decorate the fence. Well done to every weaver their makes look great and I hope they enjoyed the experience. I would love to put my feet up but I have to tidy up and prep for my next workshops tomorrow, Saturday and Monday.

8 lovely Zarzo baskets made in my workshop at Bicton College today. Participants had a little bonus of cutting some gorgeous sweet peas to fill their newly made baskets. If you would like to make one of these my next zarzo workshops are 14 June at The Avalon Marshes centre and then 12 July back at Bicton.
