Hello 👋 I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas?
Settling back into school and work can be hard!
For my family the routine is what our children thrive on, and holidays can be unsettling and challenging.
One of my boys was being homeschool from October until today, whilst waiting on a school place to open up. The lack of proper routine was hard! But I tried my best and we got through 🙂
I take my hate off to teachers! 😂
For some children though home schooling is the best choice for them. Usborne helped me to get through! 🙌 their educational books on history and science (my boys favourite subjects) along with many others, was a huge help to keep him interested and take the information in.
He has learnt all about how the body works, flags of the world, the seven continents and what makes a family, and different ways families live around the world and even made some food from other countries with me, which I learnt from too! 😀 and he learnt about the Egyptians (just to name a few)
Quite a few of his favourite books are interactive - lift the flap/ see inside. It’s helped him retain information.
Il add pictures of some of his favourite educational books below as it may help other parents with home schooling also. Or if your child has a particular subject of interest at school! There’s so many on my website 🙂
Usborne also have some great printable activities for all ages that im more than happy to share. So if anyone wants to have some worksheets and activities for free, then pop me a message xx
