Used as a writing desk with its pull-out tray and as a collectors cabinet with multiple drawers, this impressive antique piece is stamped with the maker's mark "GILLOW", indicating it was crafted by the renowned English cabinet-making firm Gillows of Lancaster and London.

Coming up in our 20th Century Decorative Art & Design Sale this October ✨

A remarkable 𝑴𝒐𝒐𝒓𝒄𝒓𝒐𝒇𝒕 𝑷𝒐𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒚 '𝑹𝒚𝒅𝒆𝒏 𝑳𝒂𝒏𝒆' 𝑻𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑽𝒂𝒔𝒆, dating from 1997.

This large and impressive baluster-form vase features a flared neck and stunning tube-lined floral decoration. Signed by Rachel Y. Bishop and marked as a trial piece, the pattern was later produced in a strictly limited edition of just 100 pieces.
