Well this last week or so was emotional and exhausting!
But glad to say we are now in our new home thanks to the amazing local companies we have ✨️
The house we purchased was being sold by Ware & Company Estate & Letting Agents (who you can find on Bridge Street). Nothing was too much for them, always happy to answer any questions and when I went to collect the keys they gave me this lovely hamper and card 😊
The hamper is by located in Taunton Town centre. Unfortunately couldn't have a cuppa on night one as no kettle. We had a boiling tap in our old house 🤦♀️
Not to worry kettle obtained and teas drunk tonight. They were delicious 😋 as was the chocolate.
We had Louise and the team from The Property Centre market and sell our home. There were a couple of ups and downs throughout the process but Louise was on the ball, she advocated on our behalf and pushed to complete this side of Christmas 🎄
helped us to get our mortgage in place. Luke was our mortgage advisor who came highly recommended from close friends. This guy knows his stuff! Their office is based in Langport but everything was done via video calls, phone calls and emails so no need to be local. He sourced us a cracking mortgage deal that's fixed for 5 years, allows generous over payments and has a 34 year term even though we are both 40 years old.
Last but not least our truck rental company
We hired a Luton from the night before the move and turns out we needed a bigger truck. We also filled 5 cars and still needed another truck.
At 9am the morning of the move they managed to get us another Luton. I am not sure of the magic they pulled as the night before they were slammed. But we are so so grateful they managed to have another truck available last minute 🙌 🚚
