Where to find Bumblee’s in August!

There are some lovely events lined up this month, and we’re looking forward to catching up with lots of familiar faces. If you’re visiting any of them, do come and say hello!

📌 IMPORTANT NOTE: Not at Taunton Independent Market in August. Instead, after two days in Taunton for the Flower Show, we’ll be heading over to EAT Minehead Food Festival on Sunday 9th.

Back at Taunton Independent on Sunday 13th September (once again, we ONLY attend the Sunday Taunton markets, not the Saturdays).

My absolute favourite today - Wild Blackberry & Apple Jam. Reminds me of blackberry picking as a kid (Yeap I can remember that long ago 😆) & making into Blackberry & Apple Crumble for tea. Of course there would be a few berries consumed whilst picking, naturally.

Now they’re picked during doggie walks & all go into the pan to make jam, well I may keep a couple back to go in some Greek Yogurt, but only a few as need to keep plenty of the jam in stock for you to enjoy too.

Wow, it’s almost a year since my Speedy Gonzales setup at the 2025 Taunton Flower Show, if only I moved this fast 🤣

3 hour initial (bare bones) setup in less than 30 secs, phew 🤪

Just two weeks time I’d have done all this again & be ready to welcome you all to the Artisan Village at Taunton Flower Show.

A little update for tomorrow’s Taunton Independent Market… 😢

With the forecasted temperatures, I’ve made the difficult decision that Bumblee’s won’t be attending Sunday’s market.

I will miss seeing my lovely regular customers & fellow stallholders alike. However, extreme heat isn’t kind to artisan jarred food products and, despite every effort to keep them cool, spending hours in full sun and high temperatures brings the risk of affecting their quality.

Don’t forget you can always pop along to one of my local stockists to keep your cupboards topped up.
