Taunton Country Market in Bath Place, Taunton is a cooperatively run shop, selling a range of locally made produce, plants and flowers, homewares, cards for every occasion, original art and handmade crafts and jewellery. Available products include baked goods and preserves, fruit and vegetables, plants and flowers, a range of handmade craft and much more available in shop and made to order. This b

usy, historic thoroughfare is home to a diverse and special collection of shops – our shop is a co-operative, built up as a team of local artisans, gardeners, florists, apple pressers, bee keepers, bakers, jam and chutney makers. The shop houses all sorts of goods made by local independent producers to supply local people with homegrown and homemade quality produce. Our market in Taunton is part of the National Country Markets Ltd which incorporates over 450 various markets around England, Wales and the Channel Islands. Home made:
A wide selection of fresh, local handmade produce is available throughout the week. Chutneys, jams, marmalades and honey are regular shelf inhabitants, as well as a deli supplying local cheeses, meat and eggs. A varying range of sweet and savoury treats are a favourite, from cakes and biscuits to savoury quiches, and scones. If you have any allergy requirements, our team of bakers are happy to take orders to suit your dietary needs – please contact the shop or pop in to talk to one of our many lovely bakers who will do their best to cater for your tummy. Special Occasions:
We are also in the company of bakers and sugar crafters who can help to make a celebration cake for any special occasion and qualifed florists who can cater for your weddings, funerals and special occasions – please pop in or contact the shop with enquiries. Home grown:
An assortment of local home grown produce is available. Fresh, seasonal fruit and vegetables, beautiful posies of flowers, plants of various kinds. Craft:
The Craft Department is home to a diverse collection of local artisans making all sorts of unique decorative objects alongside more functional and practical everyday items, all produced (by hand) with loving care. Many of our makers are available to custom meet your requirements – colour, size and quantity are examples of regular requests for custom orders.
