As we head into the quieter months, with just a handful of weddings on the horizon, it’s more important than ever to support our small local businesses.

Autumn has to be our favourite time of year in the shop 🍂

There’s something so special about the rich colours, cosy days and beautiful seasonal blooms that arrive with autumn. From warm rusts and deep reds to soft creams and golden tones, nature really puts on a show.

We love bringing a little bit of that autumn magic into our bouquets, arrangements and the shop itself.

Each stem is individually wired by hand, with care and attention to detail, making every buttonhole as beautiful and unique as the day itself.

🌸 I’ve been busy on the road! 🌸

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been travelling around the country, visiting NAFAS flower clubs and demonstrating, sharing my love of flowers, seasonal designs and plenty of tips and inspiration along the way.

It’s been wonderful meeting so many lovely flower arrangers and floral enthusiasts, and I’ve really enjoyed creating beautiful designs and sharing ideas with each club. 💐

A huge thank you to all the wonderful clubs who have welcomed me so warmly. It’s always such a pleasure to spend time together, enjoy our shared love of flowers and, of course, have plenty of fun along the way…

Some people you meet through work become so much more than just colleagues, and I feel incredibly lucky that Simon is one of those people. 🤍

We may have our own separate floristry businesses, but freelancing alongside you this year and many years prior has brought me a friendship I truly treasure. You work so unbelievably hard for your brides and grooms and pour so much heart into everything you do and I’m always so proud of you!

What started with Mum, Jenny, and a little soap stall over 20 years ago has grown into something we’re incredibly proud to be part of.

You can find mum till Christmas in the Pannier market in Tavistock.

Today, I run Odds & Buds Florist in Tavistock, while my twin sister Kelly runs Odds & Suds Ashburton. Odds & Suds Ashburton

Two very different businesses, but both born from the same family, the same hard work, and that love of creating beautiful things.

Mum started it all with handmade soap, and it’s pretty special to see that little market-stall story continuing through the next generation, in our own ways.

Family, creativity and a whole lot of love behind the scenes. ❤️

A little hello from us!

We know we’ve been a little quiet on here lately, but we promise we haven’t disappeared! We’ve been busy behind the scenes, including a trip to Birmingham’s NEC to stock up on lots of lovely new things for the shop - as well as this gorgeous wedding that left us over the weekend at mount Edgcumbe Mount Edgcumbe (Official)

And, of course, life has a habit of getting a little busy when you’ve got a nearly two-year-old running around! 😂

So, sorry for the radio silence. We’re still here, still creating, still buying beautiful things and very much looking forward to sharing more with you.
