As well as the fishing, this year we have been busy growing some quality vegetables, all these are available at the lodge or online with free local delivery.

Our PYO pumpkins will be opening Saturday 3rd of October and every weekend up to Halloween, lots of different sizes and colours available, a no fuss free entry just pay for what you pick.

Lake side cafe will be serving hot and cold food and drinks too, so grab yourself a bite to eat after you have explored our pumpkin patch while looking over the lakes.

Fishing still a bit varied, with a few double figure bags, but most anglers returning between 2 and 8 fish.
Still early season so things will improve quickly once nights start drawing in.

Fishing has been varied over the week, with a few blanks and anglers returning upto 20.
It's still only just cool enough but looking at the weather this coming week water temperatures will soon get to where it should be.
Fish have soon switched to naturals with Andrew Cooper returned 12 today finding black buzzers doing the trick, landing a few nice browns too.

Open everyday fishing from 8am till dusk, no booking necessary 🎣🎣

Rod average of around 7 from 45 or so anglers

We are now open everyday fishing from 8am until dusk, no booking necessary

For those asking will we have potatoes ready by weekend we certainly will, as well as other quality veg, price will be slightly higher unfortunately due to cost of watering them this season though 🥔🥔🥔

Everyone had a fantastic time with a full weekend of celebrations 🍾

Some cracking chunky rainbows from Dunsop Bridge Trout Farm today, 1 of 3 stockings going in this week ready for opening Saturday 5th September
The lakes are brim full and in fine fettle, good visibility and we have left a little w**d for everyone to moan about 🙄🤣 water temperatures are slowly dropping but have a way to go yet, fingers crossed no more heat waves🤞

Prices for the coming season are as follows
£30 1 fish all day
£32 2 fish all day
£37 3 fish all day
£42 4 fish all day

Catch and release after you have had your fish, those anglers wanting a sporting ticket purchase a 1 fish ticket and put everything back ( hence the cheaper 1 fish ticket as most anglers will do this no doubt )

Already our calendar is getting busy for club bookings over the next 6 months, please book early if you have a date in mind for a club or corporate day.

Cafe will be open serving full English breakfasts, paninis, our farm fresh jacket potatoes, plus a whole lot more (non fishers welcome)

Looking forward to reopening on September 5th, no pre booking necessary open from 8am until dusk.

As well as the fishing this year we will have our amazing pumpkins, they have enjoyed the summer heat especially with a splash of cold water they have had and all look exceptional quality🎃
Also squash, courgettes, marrows, sweetcorn, carrot's, parsnips, beetroot and our amazing potatoes 🥔 😋 ♥️

All available soon at the fishery, or you can order beetroot and marrows plus other veg through Petite Peonys
