Good afternoon friends and a warm introduction to ‘A Merry Mini Christmas’ Our 2026 advent calendar✨
After a two year break from dyeing mini skein yarn advents we are excited to go back to our roots🤗 We are going all school this year, no fade or specific theme but a colourful exploration into the joy of the season. From food and drink to films and songs, old traditions and modern crazes each 20g mini skein will explore the joy of Christmas.🎄🤶
This advent will NOT fade but using our dye style to create variegated and speckled yarns you will receive a collection of 24 20g mini skeins that will work cohesively together if you wish to make a larger project but if like me you enjoy happy scrappy socks and blankets this will be perfect. There is a hint to the tone of colour we will be using peeping out of the tote bags😉 no neons here, if thats your vibe Mather and James have you covered.
We are chuffed to be collaborating with both and to make this advent parcel extra special. Your individually wrapped, labled and numbered mini skeins will come in one of Gilly’s unique tote bags🎉 Clare is designing a beautiful set of stitch markers to co=ordinate with your advent.
The full advent with the tote bag is limited in number, if they sell out we will offer the advent and stitch markers set without the bag.

We are really excited to be doing a mini skeins advent again but if mini’s aren’t your thing we will be doing our 4 Sundays of advent calendar as well as a Christmas Eve box again this year…details to follow over the next couple of weeks.
