Position 1 - General Yard Operative

We are now looking for more full time General Yard Operatives to join our team in Tenbury Wells.

The position includes:

✔️Manual Handling.
✔️Pallet Dismantling using machinery.
✔️Repairing and sorting broken pallets to a high-quality standard.
✔️Working within health and safety guidelines using hand and power tools and large machinery.
✔️General Yard Duties such as cleaning and tidying work areas.
✔️Working hours are Monday to Friday 06:00am - 2:30pm (40-hour week)
✔️Pay starts at £11.44 per hour.
FORK LIFT LICENCE AN ADVANTAGE

Manual labour or previous pallet experience is not essential as full training is provided.

Applicants must be reliable and punctual as good attendance and timekeeping is an absolute necessity.

We are seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5 tonne lorry driver who holds a current fork lift licence. Hours 6.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday. 6.30am to 1pm Friday (these hours include a paid 20 minutes paid break and an unpaid lunch break of 30 minutes)
Applicants must have the following:
Valid driver's license with appropriate category for driving a 7.5 tonne along with a current digi card and valid cpc is required.
Knowledge of safely strapping down loads on a flatbed lorry is essential.
Have commercial driving experience.
Ability to handle physical work including manual handling as other duties on our site will be required.
A current counter balance forklift licence and experience in loading and uploading lorries and safe operation of forklift.(over 12 months experience preferred).
A positive attitude to health and safety.
Good customer service skills.
40 hour week.
