Miles of Smiles from Tettenhall 2026 😊💜

22 Miles.
One Industry.
One Incredible Cause.

What an amazing day yesterday! ❤️

After this year’s Cardgains Charity Walk had to be postponed due to the extremely hot weather, we decided we still wanted to get those miles in and raise as much as we could for the Meningitis Research Foundation.

So yesterday, myself & Jon, along with our wonderful friends
Ian and Lorraine from Rush Design, Andrea from Presentation, Miles from House of Cards and
Simon from Skylight Media, set off from our beautiful village of Tettenhall for what was supposed to be a 20-mile walk… and somehow ended up completing 22 miles! 😩😂

It was really tough at times, but what a fabulous day we had. Walking together, chatting, laughing and encouraging each other along the way made those miles so much easier, it was so lovely being all together and reminded us what a very special industry we are so lucky to be part of. ❤️

We may have some very tired legs today, but it was worth every single mile!

Saturday 8th August, myself & Jon along with our wonderful friends from Rush Design, Presentation, House of Cards, and several other fantastic greeting card industry friends will be taking on our own 20-mile charity walk, starting right here in our beautiful village of Tettenhall.

Together we will be raising vital funds for the Meningitis Research Foundation 💜

Off to the Business Design Centre in London today to judge the Henries Awards! 🎉

The Henries are the ultimate accolades in greeting card publishing – often referred to as the Oscars of the greeting card industry…. every year several thousand entries are submitted, showcasing the very best creativity, innovation and design from publishers across the UK.

It is such a privilege to be asked to judge these prestigious awards and I feel incredibly proud to play a small part in celebrating the amazing talent within our wonderful industry.
