✨ Meet the Maker — Rachelle of Bear Cub Crafts ✨

Bear Cub Crafts was born from Rachelle’s lifelong love of making and her passion for sustainability. From reusable sandwich wraps to colourful reusable face wipes made with bamboo towelling, every piece is carefully handmade, practical and designed to last.

Rachelle’s creative journey began as a child at her mum’s dining table, learning to use the sewing machine she still treasures today. She was always trying something new, from knitting and crochet with her nan to origami, quilling, lino printing and glass painting.

That deep-rooted love of crafting remains at the heart of Bear Cub Crafts. Each item is made with care, bringing together beautiful fabrics, thoughtful design and a more sustainable alternative to everyday disposable products.

🌻 Renter & Volunteer Needed at The Beckford Collective! 🌻

We’re looking for a local maker to join The Beckford Collective as a renter, as well as one friendly volunteer to become part of our team.

We already stock jewellery, greetings cards, bags, resin, crochet, cross stitch, candles, diffusers, wax melts, ceramics, macramé, pyrography, coasters, mugs and glass, so we’re looking for something a little different to add to our beautiful shop.

🌊 Cloud Crystals by the Sea 🦕💎

This week our lovely volunteer Toby of cloud crystals is back in Lyme Regis, one of the places that first inspired Cloud Crystals.

Many of the fossils, sea glass and treasures used in Toby’s creations begin their journey along the Jurassic Coast. Time spent beachcombing, fossil hunting and exploring the coastline helps inspire the jewellery, decorations and treasures that can be found here at The Beckford Collective.

🦕 Lyme Regis is famous for its fossils, hidden treasures and rich geological history, making it a special place for collectors, makers and nature lovers alike.

✨ Toby will also be exhibiting at the Lyme Regis Fossil Festival this weekend, sharing Cloud Crystals with visitors from across the country.

From sea glass smoothed by the waves to fossils hidden within ancient cliffs, every piece tells a story of nature, discovery and adventure.
