I realised it's been a while since the last shop post. So what's been happening? All's pretty good, as far as takings are concerned. And we are keeping the shelves well stocked. It's now more than 14 years since we signed a lease for 7, High Street, and more than 10½ since we moved across the road to 135.
Next week we will have reduced hours;
Bank holiday Monday closed. Tuesday, Wednesday 10-4 as normal (later if we are busy 🤞), Thursday 10-3, Friday 11-4, Saturday 10-5 and the following Monday, Tuesday 11-4
Back to normal after that.

There's another street market in our High Street today, and we'll be open by 11 until about 3. It's Wilf's birthday today so we'll go and see him after we close.
Thank British Legion are also holding an act of remembrance, initially for VJ Day but now also incorporating a tribute to Mike Kean Price who sadly passed this week. Service will start around 10.45, and I am sure many of you would wish to join in to remember fondly our much loved Town Sergeant and Town Crier.
In other news, the regular outdoor market returns to its previous site as from Wednesday, which will hopefully reverse its fortunes.
Finally, Cotswold Garden Upgrades deserve a mention for tidying up the town centre, in their own free time and free of charge. Hopefully, publicity of their kindness will lead to more paid work.
