An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead our flagship store in the heart of Mumbles.
We're not looking for someone to simply open the shop, serve customers and lock up at the end of the day.
We're looking for a Manager.
Someone with the ambition, commercial awareness and entrepreneurial spirit to take Dewkes Mumbles to the next level.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a growing business and play a key role in its future success.
You'll be responsible for every aspect of the day to day operation, including:
• Leading and developing our small retail team
• Delivering exceptional customer service
• Driving sales and identifying opportunities for growth
• Stock management and merchandising
• Pricing and product presentation
• Procurement and supplier ordering
• Deliveries and inventory management
• Local marketing, promotions and events
• Ensuring the store continues to be a destination for dog owners across Swansea
We're looking for someone who:
✔ Has previous retail management experience
✔ Is commercially minded and enjoys growing a business
✔ Leads by example and gets the best from people
✔ Loves building relationships with customers
✔ Is organised, proactive and thrives on responsibility
✔ Has a genuine love of dogs and the Dewkes brand
