(The forming of the new Thirsk Branch 31st October 2013)
As many of you are aware the following RHA and RA Regiments have served at Alanbrooke Barracks, Topcliffe. 1st RHA, 3rd RHA, 49 Regt, 27 Regt, 19 Regt and 40 Regt and many ex Gunners have settled around the North Yorkshire and local area. To enable us to procced with this project we need to know the full amoun
t of interest of ex and serving members who would be interested in helping to form a branch. It is hoped to hold a meeting on Thursday 31st October to get the branch off the ground. so if anyone is interested in coming along please contact me by email [email protected] or phone 07949827804 and then we can confirm the venue depending on the amount of interest. you will be supprised and would be a good way of getting back in touch with former mates and friends who live around and about the area...like they say Once a GUNNER always a GUNNER so again if you are game please contact me and lets get the ball rolling....
