How about that, it actually worked first time 😮

Master vol push-push for series/parallel of both pickups in middle position.
Mini toggle for neck humbucker - series/single coil/parallel.
3 way selector switch - as normal.
Mini toggle for bridge humbucker - series/single coil/parallel.
Tone push-push phase reverse.
Artec booster push-pull on/off, linked to green ring LED on kill switch.
Kill switch - push to break, green light indicates booster active.

This was a headache to start with, but really enjoyed the job 😆🤘🏻

I thought the old version of the Jimmy Page wiring mod was the trickiest loom around until someone dreamt this up and asked me to stuff it through thier F-hole. It took me over an hour to design the circuit and the best part of a day to wire it up thanks to PRS pickups using different mystery colours for each pickup wire. Now it’s got to be fed through that small gap and be reconnected to the pickups through the F-hole. Stay tuned to see if I get it done, or if it just goes in the bin on fire.

I've been keeping this quiet for a while, but now Rick Graham has released his new Charvel signature guitar, I can go on about how stoked I was to work on Rick's own prototype model a few months ago.

It's as amazing to play as it is to look at. It needed to go between Rick and during the PR stint prior to the launch of this model, who are launching a new podcast soon. Rick plays 9-42 with a normal person action of 1.1mm to 1.5mm, and plays with a superhuman efficiency and unique voicing. Ben plays 11-49 with an outrageous 2mm action across the board 😆🤘 and he can rip like the devil, so no more excuses about not having your action low enough to shred!

Just a quick message to say that I’m unashamedly closing the workshop on Wednesday 8th October to go and see Blood Incantation in Manchester.

Google maps temporarily locked me out when I tried to change the workshop address, asking for a video submission to prove it 🤷🏻‍♂️ so we’re stuck with the old address and I can’t alter any opening hour changes until I get that done.

Not to worry though, since I’m working from home for a few months while they build the new workshop, I can be more flexible with drop-offs and pickups. If you need to arrange something out of hours just let me know 😉👍🏻 I can also do collection and delivery (small diesel fee based on distance).

It’s been one of those weeks. One of our cats passed away, I got COVID and the lease ran out on the workshop building. Those of you who have guitars ready for collection have been contacted about new arrangements. I will be finishing the website update today, so please check there for new arrangements. Our landlord has done everything he can to keep us in the Middlesbrough workshop (he’s a legend), but we’re out of options now. All businesses in that yard need to vacate, and for us it’s not too difficult, we can work in my garage where Agrajag started back in 2015. I worry about some of the other businesses that are way bigger than ours, they can’t jump back into their garages!
