So, I know most of you follow this page because of the flowers… 🌸😊

But this week I’ve had two lovely conversations while people were collecting flowers.

When I mentioned that my full-time job is actually being a self-employed travel agent, one lady said,
“Oh, I didn’t know! We’re looking for a travel agent because we want to do a safari for a special birthday next year. Have you got a card?”

The other said,
“I wish I’d known… I’ve just booked our holiday!”

In fact, one of my Jam Jar Flowers customers has become one of my best clients and now books 3 or 4 holidays a year with me. You know who you are! ❤️

People often say to me, “You need to tell people you know, what you do, especially because you’re local and people already know and trust you.”

So… here’s my shameless little plug! 😊

I’m not a trained florist - I arrange flowers because I genuinely love them, I love making something beautiful, and I love making people smile.

My career has always been travel. It’s what I’ve done since studying Travel & Tourism at college, and it’s what I’ve worked in ever since.

I’m a self-employed Personal Travel Planner working under The Holiday Village name, so every holiday I book comes with ABTA and ATOL protection where applicable, backed by the support of an award-winning agency.
