Those of you who have had the pleasure of meeting Lindsay also known as Paintopia will know what a lovely lady she is and as I was reminded lately - “inside and out”. 🌈 Today’s the day – Joy Fest! 🌈

If you’re looking for something joyful to do today, our wonderful friend Karen and Sparkly Margaret are hosting Joy Fest at Marine Hall, Fleetwood from 11am – 3.30pm 💖

It’s a FREE family fun day filled with music, laughter, dancing, activities, and lots of lovely community organisations all under one roof.

✨ There’s:
• Live performances
• Laughter yoga
• Sound bath
• Henna tattoos
• K-pop dancing
• Wrestling demos
• Quiet space to relax
• Soup, bread & cake
• And you can even take home your own Jar of Joy

If anyone is interested in joining my team here is my timetable for all my classes that I take.
My studio is at Marsh Mill Thornton right near the windmill. Plenty of parking and we love welcoming new faces on the team.
All my classes cater for all levels of fitness 💪🏻💪🏻

I also offer 1-2-1 personal training sessions and group pt sessions too 🙌🙌
These are done from my studio or my home in Carleton both in a private gym and a studio.

Our new customers and people coming to one-off events sometimes ask, “Where exactly are you?”
I always say, “Just look for the windmill.”
And they reply… “What windmill?” 😝

It honestly amazes me how many local people miss this stunning BIG windmill, even though they live nearby.

Our best moment was a gentleman standing right at our door asking where we were… and we were able to say, “It’s behind you!” 😂

I can’t wait for the warmer days when she really looks her best — a bit of sunshine makes everything better. 😊

🌞 Good morning from Marsh Mill!

It may have felt like a slow start to the year from the outside, but behind the scenes it’s been a busy and exciting time for most of the businesses here at Marsh Mill as we find our rhythm again in early January 2026.

Now MM is really coming back to life – there’s a lovely buzz in the air and a sense that good things are building. We’ve got some brilliant business collaborations ongoing and new ones underway and some exciting news coming soon about events for 2026… 🤗

Over the next week, keep an eye out for our lists of arts & crafts, gatherings, and opportunities happening here at the mill – there’s lots to look forward to and plenty of ways to get involved.
