Happy 1st Birthday to my little flower shop 🎈
What a year it’s been. A year of learning, growing, figuring things out as I go and taking on the challenges that come with running a business.
There have been highs, there have been “what on earth am I doing?” moments and plenty of early mornings and late nights. But with the help of family and friends I’ve learnt so much — about flowers, business, and what it really takes to build something.
And then there’s the juggling act… running a business while raising a small family is definitely not for the faint-hearted. Throw into the mix a puppy before my first peak period, it’s a miracle anyone got Christmas presents last year! Some days I feel like I’ve absolutely nailed it, and others I’m just grateful everyone has been fed and the orders went out on time!
But I wouldn’t change it. I’m so incredibly grateful to every single person who has ordered flowers, recommended me, shared my posts, popped into the shop, sent a lovely message, or simply supported my little business from the sidelines.
You’ve helped turn an idea into something real, and I’m so excited to see where the next year takes us.
