With the weather now on the turn to something a tad more ‘ pleasant’ , we can turn our attention to the autumn events we are running here at Browns . As our burger nights were such a success- we are going to run these ‘ French’ themed night for September , October and November . We will change this up again in January to something else . Think warming food , think good wine , think beret hats ! Pretty sure I can organise a prize for the best dressed at each of these events !!! All now live on website to book !! September 11th , October 2nd and November 13th . Large dining table available for parties larger than 4 ( please message us to discuss ) . Bet this was a nice surprise to wake up to !! 🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷

Seems like only yesterday I was last doing one of these posts !!! How has it been 2 years since we celebrated our last cohort of the teams A level results !! It’s now Amber’s turn ! We are delighted that Amber passed her A levels with flying colours and is off to Northumbria next month to read psychology . I so enjoy having this 2 year rotation of the Saturday team where they come to us as baby 16 year olds and we see them leave 2 years later to go on to the next chapter of their lives, it’s like gaining another child for 2 years and we share the joy watching them go off into the big wide world . We are certainly creating a strong alumni here with our last 3 sets off to Durham , York , Cambridge and now another northern powerhouse. While I’m always sad to see them go and Amber is no exception- they can’t seem to stay away and I know we will all be seeing Amber very soon indeed !! The even better news is we have already offered the job to Ambers replacement and are awaiting for her to turn 16 later this year to start with us early in 2027 ( hopefully !) . Amber - it has been an absolute pleasure and delight watching you mature over the last few years . We all wish you the best for the future and can’t wait to see what the future brings for you ### ❤️❤️🩷🩷🩷🩷 .

And we are back open from 8.30am !!! Been a much needed 2 week break for all of us , but we are fully open again from this am and ready to see the last part of 2026 out in style ! ☀️

Magic patiently waiting for the shop to reopen again next week so he gets the house back to himself ( and Sunday dinner scraps ) ! On count down now ready to see everyone from Tuesday 4th 9am … you may find the shop door open next few days as I’m in cleaning and prepping - feel free to come and chat and try your luck for a coffee ! However I am not the one to ask for a decaf , oat milk , single shot , half fat with a shot of sugar free syrup ! 😬😂 - so looking forward to being back open next week … but looking at how quiet Tickhill has been - we definitely got it right this year ! We are quite busy next week which has surprised me , so I would encourage if you are thinking about breakfast - to book next few weeks and not risk a walk in . 5 days and counting guys !

Summer calling ! Polite reminder that as always we are shut for our summer holidays from MONDAY 20th JULY - TUESDAY 4th AUGUST. As always - I will be monitoring the email accounts and social media - and I will be in some days deep cleaning , BUT phones will not be checked until our return .
