To all of our wonderful, loyal friends and customers. Unfortunately this isn't a great news post and it is made with an extremely heavy heart and great sadness.
Some of you will already know that for the last 18 months we have been fighting to prevent a 50% rent increase. Despite our best efforts to agree on what is fair and just, sadly we are stuck with the huge rent increase. This has left us with no choice but to close the shop and I can't begin to tell you how heartbroken we are. We never expected it to end like this, especially as we have been such reliable tennants, and with so many commercial properties available for rent, but sitting empty in Tickhill at the moment. Our last trading day will be 24th October and we hope you will continue to support us until then. Our Christmas stock is out in the shop now and we hope that you will consider buying early from us and help us go out in the best possible position. Thank you all for your loyal custom and friendship over the years and we will miss you greatly 😔

Sadly it's Michelle's last day at Castlegate Cards today. If you want to pop in to say goodbye then we're open until 4pm. I'd sure Michelle would love to see you.
