Peak Volumes Peak Volumes is an independent secondhand bookseller based in Tideswell, in the Derbyshire Peak District.

We have thousands of second hand and antiquarian titles on a wide range of topics. Please come and visit us - WE ARE OPEN 1030-1730 Thursday-Sunday. Peak Volumes was previously owned by Tim Dudley The shop was originally a home-based business near Buxton, and was known, then, as Tomes of Buxton. Tim very sadly passed away in 2018 but his legacy in his love for books lives on.

After the success of the Derbyshire Arts exhibition in Tideswell, with local artists featuring their wonderful work, here's something new by David Coxon, who has recently moved to the village. Water cm Jolly, painted in oil. Measuring approximately 30cm x 26cm, this is a little slice of heaven for someone's wall.

Hi everyone! Well one post in a few months isn't an impressive New Year's Resolution as one lovely customer has just pointed out! So it seems very appropriate to post a thank you today. Thank you to all our wonderful customers, both regular and new. We are so grateful to you for supporting us, come rain, come shine (not so much of the latter this year as yet!).
