Fill up those baskets... it's your last chance to shop with us IRL 🧶

After three wonderful years, we'll be closing the doors of our Exeter shop this August.

Our little shop has been filled with yarn, colour, laughter, and so many wonderful conversations. It's been such a special part of the LAD story, and we're so grateful to everyone who's walked through our doors.

Don't worry, this isn't goodbye to LAD.

In fact, it's quite the opposite. Closing the shop means we can pour all of our time and creativity into growing LAD in new ways, and we're so excited for everything that's to come.

Before we close this chapter, we'd love to celebrate it with you.

Join us on Friday 7th & Saturday 8th August for one final send off as we say goodbye to our joyful, colourful yarn shop.

Last year (with a little help from the Beckhams 😅), our handmade knitted stockings went viral...

Which meant our small team was knitting right up until the last minute, and we had to stop guaranteeing Christmas delivery earlier than we'd have liked, so some of you missed out 💛

This month's yarn stash is all about Funshine Organic Cotton DK!

It's World Knit in Public Day today, so I asked the LADs if they had any photos of themselves knitting in public places...

I was picturing a lovely post featuring knitting in picturesque locations. Instead, this video is I received 🤣 it wasn't quite the wholesome content I had in mind.

Maybe next year we will ask our wonderful customers for photos instead 😅
