We’re on the road… and what a month it’s going to be!
August has officially arrived, and the Mother’s Ruin 1751 team is packing the vans, loading the gin and rum, and heading all over the country! 🇬🇧
We’ve already kicked things off with a fantastic weekend in Reading – and what an event it was! A massive thank you to everyone who came over, had a tasting, stocked up and had a laugh with us. ❤️
But there’s absolutely no slowing down…

Our very own GinFather will be heading to Glasgow, bringing the full Mother’s Ruin 1751 range with him.

🚨 IMPORTANT DELIVERY ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
ONLINE ORDERS FROM 17TH–23RD AUGUST WILL BE DELAYED
Please, please take note if you’re planning to order online during August.
From Monday 17th August for SEVEN DAYS, our normal postal service will be temporarily delayed.
Why?
Quite simply… there’ll hardly be anyone left at home! 😂
Our team will be out supporting events around the country, the GinFather will be up in Scotland, and with everyone involved in getting Mother’s Ruin 1751 out and about, our usual dispatch operation will be taking a short break.
📦 WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOUR ORDER?
You can still order through our website as normal during this period.
However, orders placed during the seven-day period beginning 17th August will NOT be dispatched as quickly as usual and may not leave us until the following week.
If you need something urgently, please order before 17th August to avoid disappointment.

This is one of the highlights of our entire year and we absolutely cannot wait to be back.
This year, we’ll be working alongside the brilliant Ginfluencers UK, with Scott joining the GinFather and several more members of Team Mother’s Ruin helping to keep the drinks flowing throughout the weekend.

🎤 WE’RE BACK IN THE TASTING TIPPLE TENT!
Yes! The GinFather and team will once again be taking to the Tasting Tipple Tent at CarFest.
Unfortunately, we only have ONE SESSION PER DAY this year – and many of the sessions have already sold out online!
BUT…
Don’t panic if you missed out.
There will be a limited number of tickets available to grab whilst you’re actually at CarFest, so keep your eyes peeled and get in quickly.
Expect stories, laughs, tastings and probably a little bit of chaos. It wouldn’t be a Mother’s Ruin tasting otherwise! 😂🍸

🏎️ TWO LIMITED EDITIONS LAUNCHING AT CARFEST!
We couldn’t head to CarFest and Silverstone without doing something special.
So this year we’re launching TWO fantastic limited-edition Silverstone-inspired spirits:
🏁 The Chequered Flag – London Dry Gin
🏁 The Final Lap – Cornish Spiced Rum
Created especially to celebrate our return to CarFest and Silverstone, these are limited editions and once they’re gone… they’re gone.
There’s also a lovely local story behind this year’s CarFest preparations.
With the incredible hot weather we’ve experienced – and unfortunately the difficult drought conditions affecting agriculture – we’ve been speaking with and working alongside local farmers.
Where possible, we’re finding ways of working together that generate a little additional income for the farms involved while also supporting what we’re producing for CarFest.
For us, supporting local has always mattered. If we can create something brilliant while putting a little more back into our local community at the same time, even better. ❤️🌾

It’s safe to say Mother’s Ruin 1751 is well and truly on tour this August!
We’re keeping everything crossed that this glorious sunshine sticks around for the Bank Holiday weekend.
Most importantly, we’re looking forward to seeing so many familiar faces – and hopefully plenty of new ones – as we travel around the country.
And one final reminder…

Our website will remain open and you can continue placing orders, but online orders placed during this period may not be dispatched until the following week.
If you need your gin, rum, refill pouches or festival supplies before then, please get your order in early!
