Today is the day that 50% will be excited and 50% will be disgusted.
About half of our range has gone on display but I have to work out how to squeeze the walls back and extend the shelves to get the rest out.
Of course we still have our usual great range of all year round treats.
Please don't say it's not even Halloween yet because I really am bah humbug and don't really get the concept of it. 😊🎅.

Today is our last Sunday of the season.
A little bit earlier than usual and I may well be here some Sundays but definitely not next Sunday as it is our first wedding anniversary and I would quite like the chance to make it to a second one 😊.
Next week will see a big change in the shop as summer goods reduce to a small display and the big season starts to appear, there is a huge amount arriving tomorrow and more later in the week.
This year we have ignored all the nay sayers who are telling me that Christmas will be very difficult, on the back of last year being quite incredible I have put orders for our biggest ever display of everything you could possibly wish for 🎅

So the August figures are in.
I have to be honest with the customers as I always say that we are a community based business in the community for the community.
After being up every month so far this year, August has been pretty difficult and has been the worst for four years (not that bad, 2.5% down on last year) .
Of course a major factor was the heat, people wanted ice cream not chocolate, but another major factor has been the sheer lack of tourists.
Never mind, the local customer base is strong and always amazes us.
A new and exciting season is on the horizon and we have a truly great selection of quality chocolates and treats hitting the shelves over the next few weeks.
Thank you as always to all of our customers for the incredible support that we enjoy., 😍
