This makes us at Torqu-E-Cycles quite angry! A customer came in with a brand new b52 bomber for some advice/inspection after noting a burning smell...

After having spent £10,000 on a brand new b52 bomber he rode it once only to find out the Australian companies build quality is not all it seems!

The wiring from the controller to motor has melted all the way from one end to the other, which was squashed under the battery from the factory posing a very serious fire risk!

This is due to incorrect/inadequate spec build quality and not a simple one off fault.

The battery casing has melted, all the sensor wiring for the gearbox is gone, the manufacturer states 6.2kw power, yet uses a cheap supposedly 50 amp connector for the battery along with under-rated wiring throughout!
6200watts ÷72volts =86.11amps.... not good!

Bike is now in safe storage at our shop awaiting an independent review before further legal steps being taken by the owner.... be careful what you buy!

Anyone recognise this sc**te breaking into my shop around 2pm today and stealing a 6k Cube ebike? Cctv inside the shop is fantastic but the idiot put his hood up when breaking the back door in, thankfully the neighbors ring doorbell caught him before and after!
Absolute **** is now wanted by police.
