Devon’s two Air Ambulances and two rapid response critical care cars are funded by Devon Air Ambulance Trust which is a registered charity. Independent of Government funding, Devon Air Ambulance relies on the generosity of the people of Devon and beyond, who kindly give their time, money and expertise to help support and maintain this life saving service. Times have certainly changed from the old

way of thinking that the air ambulance simply collects a patient and delivers them quickly to hospital. Today, this service is about highly skilled critical care paramedics and doctors delivering advanced lifesaving treatment and interventions on-scene, stabilising a patient and then transporting them to the hospital which offers the specialist treatment needed to provide the patient with the best possible outcome. The DAA medical team conveyed 184 patients by air in 2020, but also accompanied 271 patients on their journey to hospital in a land ambulance so they could continue to observe, monitor and treat them with the enhanced care they needed until their arrival at hospital.

We're currently accepting a wide range of wooden and metal furniture, including coffee tables, telly stands, dining chairs and shelving

Is it time to clear out that "extra" space? Our shop is officially **accepting donations** of smaller furniture items! Whether you’re downsizing or just ready for a change, your pre-loved pieces help us keep doing what we do.
📦 What we’re looking for:
We are looking for **small-scale, non-upholstered** wooden or metal items, such as:
* Coffee tables & Side tables
* Nightstands
* Dining chairs
* Small bookcases
* Plant stands or shelving units
⚠️ A few quick "House Rules":
To make sure we can accept your items, please keep the following in mind:
* **No Upholstery:** We are currently only accepting "hard" furniture (no sofas, armchairs, or cushioned seats).
* **Drop-off Only:** We do not offer a collection or delivery service at this time.
* **Business Hours Only:** Please do not leave items on our doorstep while we are closed. Items left outside are prone to weather damage or theft, and we want to make sure your donation stays in great shape!
