❗Job opportunity: Shop Operations Manager (part-time)❗

Hector’s House is seeking an organised, proactive and people-focused Shop Operations Manager to support the day-to-day running of our charity shop. Working closely with the Shop Retail Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations, maintaining compliance, supporting volunteers, and helping the shop achieve its objectives. 👖👜👚

📍Location: Hector's House Shop, Queensway, Torquay
⏰Hours: 20 per week, usually Tuesday-Saturday, approximately 4 hours per day falling between 9:30am and 4:30pm (some flexibility required).
💷Salary: £13,520 per annum.

We’re back open today from 10am and today is “fill the shelves Friday” for our team! We work throughout the day to plump up the shop with your fabulous donations, so if you haven’t been in for a few days, you’ll find LOTS of new items 😻

The jumper rail is doing very well and being added to daily, the winter shoes are ready for you for when the weather changes, and the bric a brac is showing signs of autumn- bliss! 🍁 🍂

Beautiful items hit the shelves yesterday, and no sooner could we get them out they all sold! These items were placed after we closed so everything you see is available for purchase from 10am today 😻

We’ll be adding much more today, our jumper rail will be topped up, winter jackets, coats and woolies will be filling the rails, and winter shoes may even make an appearance ⛄️

You may even see a sprinkling of Autumn decor 🍁 and shhhh, Halloween 🎃

Happy weekend everyone!

Saturday is here and we’re open at 10am so you can get your charity shop fix 😄 We’ve got some great stuff hitting the shelves today and our volunteers will be working hard to process your donations.

A reminder that we still aren’t able to accept books, electricals or duvets.
