Another winner from Torrington

🥳🥖🍞🍰 We are delighted to say we won the "Farmers Food & Drink Award" from Business Action !! 🥳

It feels great to be recognised, especially as the 'reins' of Sandford's are passed on to the next generation; Mary & Nick's oldest daughter Amy and their youngest, Katie. (Charlotte, their middle daughter, who is a talented artist, has recently taken on the role of Celebration Cake Decorator - so all three are involved).

Amy will continue her role as a Baker, which she has done for many years alongside the rest of the baking team. Katie has taken over the running of the business side of things.

We couldn't continue Sandford's without our hard working and talented staff, both in the bakery and in the shop. So it is an award for the whole Sandford's team, who we are all proud of! 😍

Finally, THANK YOU to the people of Torrington, and the surrounding areas - who have supported us for so many years. This is a unique town, and we hope it will thrive into the future.

Here's to the next 45 years!! 😅🥳😍

Look what Sonu's Kitchen has produced for the shop . Devon delight.pie. Vegetarian pie made with leeks cheese and a few herbs . Have a slice with some salad and. Olives . Take it home to have it heated with new potatoes and baked beans. Salad today is Asian inspired salad and Chicken and Mayo .

Good morning we are open from 9:30am till 2pm. We have started doing our salads on Wednesday through till Friday. Saturday pre book only. Our Salad today is Asian inspired salad bowl with Asian coleslaw with cucumber. Ginger and turmeric pickle. Topped with peanut butter dressing. Sesame seeds and peanuts for crunch too. Chicken for protein. The Vegan Vegetarian version has black beans. If you don't like peanuts we have alternative dressing available.
Our Mackerel Pâté is also available from Wednesday through to Saturday. Bring a roll of your choice we fill it on for you.@ Sandford's Bakery rolls are great or recently Taffs Fish and Chips Freshly cooked chips and Mackerel Pâté a combination few of my customers have tried.

Good morning we have a British classic for salad today. Homemade coronation chicken. The sauce is the 1953 recipe updated slightly. We also coronation chickpeas for vegetarian and vegan salads. The Salad also has potato salad with pomegranate and dill and olive oil and lemon juice. All topped with sweetcorn and red pepper Topped with cashew nuts .
