📢Turkey-Syria Earthquake Response Update:

In Aleppo, Syria, Oxfam is working with partners to deliver hygiene materials, including soap, shampoo and pads, to families who left their homes and are now staying in collective shelters. Together, we've also already started providing safe drinking water to around 41,200 people in 60 collective centres and affected neighbourhoods, as well as supporting ongoing house safety checks, with more than 400 having been checked so far. We're very excited Glastonbury Festivals have just announced the full line up for this year’s 🎶 Live at Worthy Farm! 🎶 on Saturday 22 May, with extra encore screenings on 23 May. Get your £20 tickets from www.worthyfarm.live!

Alongside previously announced exclusive live sets from artists including Coldplay, Damon Albarn, HAIM, IDLES and Jorja Smith, we can reveal today that the uninterrupted five-hour extravaganza will also feature a unique spoken word narrative, provided by PJ Harvey, Jarvis Cocker, Kae Tempest, George The Poet, Kurupt FM, Little Amal and Festival founder Michael Eavis, as well as additional guest performances from George Ezra and Róisín Murphy.

Livestreamed direct to you from the site, the show supports Glastonbury’s three main charitable partners, Oxfam Great Britain, Greenpeace UK, WaterAid UK, as well as helping to secure the festival’s return in 2022. You can donate when purchasing your ticket or any time throughout the event to show your support. Money raised helps fund our life-saving work around the world, including our coronavirus response.

Almost ready for opening today, the phone line is reconnected, now just a few tech issues to overcome. We are delighted to say that the shop will at last be reopening as soon as covid rules allow. We were able to get back into the shop last week to box up and move as many books as possible into storage, hampered by the layers of builders dust covering everything! In a few weeks time, once we have our new floor and shelving, we will be able to move them all back in and prepare to welcome back our customers
