The Baines Christmas Ride will be on again this year, on Christmas Eve morning (it's a Tuesday). All welcome.

🚴 Calling all volunteers! 🚴‍♂️

The Men's Tour of Britain is coming to our local roads on Saturday, 7 September, and they need your help to make it an unforgettable event!

This thrilling fifth stage kicks off at the University of Northampton and wraps up at the Guildhall on Derngate after an epic 147km (91 miles) race through the area, including Daventry and nearly 30 villages.

You'll be welcoming visitors, providing directions, supporting the Fan Zone, handing out merchandise, and answering spectators’ questions. Your help will ensure everyone has an unforgettable experience!

🕒 Volunteer Hours: Maximum of 5 hours, from 10am until 2pm.
👕 What’s Provided: Training and high-vis wear where appropriate.

Due to where Christmas falls this year the ride is a day or two earlier than normal. We'll announce the route a bit nearer the time but it'll be 20-30 miles with refreshments in the shop after...and in the pub after that.

Baines Christmas Bash - Wednesday 20th December at the Butchers Arms, Greens Norton

If you'd like to come, this year we are going to do pre-payment of meals to make it easier on the night.

So to do this, please choose your food options from the menu attached, and send them to Ian Baughan via Messenger. Ian will then send you his bank account details for payment.

We need these no later than the 13th December please.

Any other questions please contact Ian rather than the shop.

Hi lovely people, due to Geoff working away next week, the shop is only open on Tuesday 17th and Thursday 19th from 9.00am until 5.00 pm.

The shop will be open as per usual from Monday 23rd onwards.

On Saturday 23rd September, Ziggurat Racing are bringing their second round of Central cyclones-cross league to Blackpit Brewery. The course is going to be mega with a mixture of gravel, grass, woods and more.

Everyone is welcome whether you are participating or not! We will be opening the taproom from 10:30am, plus we have stunning coffee from our friend and local roaster, Milk & Beans Coffee Roasters . To top this off we will have bangin' wood-fired pizza from Santina’s Wood Fired Pizza Co – grab one for yourself or share with your family & friends.

Right folks - most of us have had an accident on our bikes caused by the rubbish state of our roads. Our own Geoff Baines had a massive pothole induced off a few years back breaking a number of bones. We have an audience with Andrea Leadsom in 2 weeks at her Towcester office to hand our concerns over. The more sign ups we get the more chance we can get a voice in Parliament. Let’s make a change and sign this Petition. All local cycle groups are getting involved.
