Today was a pick up day from Llaeth Teulu Jenkins Family Milk & Wainwright's Bee Farm. 🙌

And it got the pondering juices flowing ~ on the metaphor from the Old Testament…

"Land of Milk and Honey".

It is such a poetic symbol for a place of abundance ~ signifying agricultural fertility, wealth and total provision provided. 🙌🙏🙌

On a morning like today Mid West Wales is definitely feeling like the “land of milk and honey”. 😉

10am till 5pm ~Weekdays
10am till 4pm ~ Saturdays

Deliveries keep coming in. Yesterday we received a pallet from one of our fav suppliers - who work with independent farmers in Europe.

They provide us with top quality organic staples we love from the Med. 🙌

And, we’ve added 3 new lines to our already extensive range ~ of olive oil, olives, 🫒 Spanish honey, 🍯 tinned fish 🎣, tinned 🍅, pastas, sauces and more!!

These are all proving to be popular products due to using natural methods and only containing the raw ingredients and they also offer very reasonable prices. 🙌

Don’t forget…

With the summer holidays in full-swing and noticing a change to our day to day trade and routine - we would like to make you aware that things might go slightly skew-whiff…

What might this look like… ❓❓

It might be that we close at 5pm instead of 5.30 if the afternoon starts to drag and a sea swim feels more appealing.

Or

You might see a sign on the door saying ‘out to lunch’ - if friends or family call in ad hoc.

Or

Take this Saturday for instance - we will be closing at 2pm instead of 4pm - so that staff can spend quality time with their family.

This is obviously only on occasions - enabling us to bring in some work/life balance.
