One of the real highlights of our sigs summer break was a visit to Rega Research.
I've been around hi-fi for a long time, but I have to admit I was completely blown away by the scale of their operation. You hear the name Rega so often that it's easy to picture a relatively modest factory. The reality couldn't be more different—it's an enormous, seriously impressive facility and a great example of British manufacturing done properly.
The factory tour was fascinating, and yes... the restaurant deserves a mention too! Definitely not your average works canteen. 😄
I also managed to see a few things that, unfortunately, I'm not allowed to talk about just yet. Let's just say there are some very interesting products on the horizon, and I don't think it'll be too long before the wraps come off.
A huge thanks to everyone at Rega for the warm welcome and hospitality. It's always refreshing to see a company so committed to designing and building world-class products here in the UK.
Now... who's going to try and get me to spill the beans? 😉🤐
