something a wee bit different tonight .
Pelmet and curtains hanging in a bay door window .
We thought of doing everything in the geometric pattern would be to heavy / busy looking so we broke it up with a very pale beige and only using a small band of the geometric at the top of the pelmet

love this little practical space , wee TV room from the hallway to the staircase
Earthy shades of Brown and Green everywhere
Padded pelmet with Roman blind
The exterior door opens in the way so pelmet and blind are hung high above the recess of the door so that the blind can be pulled all the way up to allow the door to open without anything obstructing it ❤️

so I was making a pair of short eyelet curtains last week and I made them 3 cm to long , which meant they were sitting wrinkled on top of the radiator which can look a bit untidy .
when making eyelet curtains you need to add an extra 3cm on to the finished length, I've done my first measure and added on the 3 cm but when doing the makeup I've stupidly added it on again . Annoying but easily fixed and are now hanging beautifully
