Hello everyone, long time without a post from me but please read this it is lengthy but I hope you'll understand.
It has come to the time of year where i should be rushed off my feet making chocolate ahead of the busy season we have ahead of us. However again this year my decision has not been taken lightly but not to open again for a second Christmas running not only do I want to spend some time with family the current costs of chocolate are far too high. Wholesale price to myself is double of what it was 2yrs ago. With price rises as big as this my chocolate bars would need to be around the £6 mark including all packaging and other costs. It’s simply not affordable for anyone customers or myself at this time. I still have all equipment and chocolate moulds so it is not the end for ARJ chocolate and when and if prices come down I will go back to chocolate making. But for now I shall call it extended maternity leave.
