Getting lost and desperate….just don’t know how to help Juno.
I knew she would struggle in kennels and she is….she hates being left alone and she is distressed but we so far haven’t found the right people for her
For the biggest part of the time Juno is the most loving of dogs but she is also incredibly insecure so she is difficult to leave but her first foster family had managed to build up to leaving her for 3-4 hours but it took time. Juno also has random guarding problems but again in first foster this hadn’t gone but was decreasing. It’s worth noting that first foster home had her for 3 months and loved her very much but as a young couple they want to start a family and knew Juno wouldn’t be a dog that could be with children.
Juno will be a broken dog if we can’t get it right for her soon….her trust in humans not letting her down will soon be destroyed.
We had Juno booked in to get her spayed and her hernia repaired but we can’t do that while she is in kennels.
Juno needs child free and pet free home and needs someone who will give her time time and more time.
She is breaking our hearts ….please 🙏🙏🙏

We would like to thank all our customers over the last 146 years for their support and would like them to know that the decision has not been taken lightly.

H J Knee Ltd will continue to trade operating an Engineering Business based in Trowbridge along with a property portfolio.

How’s this for a blast from the past? This vintage mangle (or clothes wringer) once played a key role in every wash day — using hand-turned rollers to squeeze water out of freshly washed clothes long before electric washing machines arrived!

It’s a great reminder of just how far home appliances have come — and how long Knees has been part of that journey.

At Knees, we treasure our history – and every now and then, something truly special reminds us just how far we’ve come.

Recently, a piano made its way back to us, and attached to it was this original Knees sales ticket, dating back to the 1950s. That means this piano has been loved in someone’s home for over 75 years, before finding its way back to where it all began.

Seeing H.J. Knee Ltd. of Trowbridge printed alongside our old motto “Everything for the Home, Farm and Garden” is a beautiful reminder of our roots. From those early days serving our community to where we are now, our passion for helping families create homes they love has never changed.

Moments like this remind us that Knees is more than a store – it’s part of local life, memories, and history and the Knee family still remains at the heart of it all.
