Very soon we will be opening up a space on Thursday and Saturday mornings for a social crafting group, just bring along your own project and yourself and get to know other local knitters/crocheters/stitchers over a cup of tea and some biscuits.

Interested in joining one of our upcoming new crafting social clubs?

We are planning two sessions on Thursday and Saturday mornings upstairs in our new workshop area.

The cost would be £5.00 a session to include refreshments and advice from our staff when available. We would run occasional demonstrations to inspire you and offer free samples for you to try.

You can bring along whatever you are working on and share knowledge and inspiration from like-minded people. Perhaps help with some charity projects? We also have a craft book swap shelf.

✨Needle Felting✨

Needle felting is the art of sculpting wool using notched needles. It's a surprisingly simple and addictive form of fibre art that is quick and easy to learn.

Needle felting uses long, thin needles with notches that catch the fibres and tangle them together, gradually building structured shapes. To speed up the process and lessen the ammount of wool needed, foam shapes can be used as a base to be built on.
