Slightly different sort of crafts recently! I’ve been making two hedgehogs houses because we have several night visitors. One for each of our gardens, with a camera set up to catch sightings, these houses are camouflaged into the shrubbery, have treated wood, have nice dry bedding, and have a divider wall meaning the cold air doesn’t burst in on them, they can snuggle in when winter comes.

My cousins birthday was coming up, and he spends 95% of his time on the beach, so I wanted to make something fitting. The sand was collected from Newton beach in south wales (a bit of home for him), seaglass was from Watchet (from a trip we went together) and the crab I found in Watchet aswell, and picked the shells up from the same beach. It’s a collaboration of Somerset and wales! I was pleased with how it turned out!

It’s been a little while since I’ve made anything, but this was for my nans birthday this month! The sand was collected from her favourite beach, as was the seaglass, and the starfish I FOUND dead, and picked the shells up from the same beach. It’s a collaboration of Somerset and wales! I was pleased with how it turned out!

Made this wonderful creation for a birthday, and now it’s been opened, I can share!!!
I made every little thing, which with it being so small, meant using a tweezers for nearly everything. It was incredibly fiddly, and I may have lost my temper once or twice….

I made a lot of my Christmas presents this year, and started in July to do so.
I handmade every fairy, all the wings, the tables etc and collected moss and woodland goodies for the decorations.
Each fairy is a miniature of a bigger fairy, and I tried to make it as like as I could.

I made a lot of my Christmas presents this year, and started in July to do so.
I handmade every fairy, all the wings, the tables etc and collected moss and woodland goodies for the decorations.

It’s been quiet from me lately, but I’ve been working away! I’ve made all of my friends a gift (which will be shared after Christmas), and yesterday I made these light up wreaths. I made one more but that’s not quite finished and will be heading to its new home in Scotland.

Latest challenge. So for an event, I was making myself a cornwall representing outfit, and I’m really impressed with this. I’ve never made clothes from just fabric, but I’m pretty happy with how these turned out. The event is now cancelled, so hopefully one day I’ll get to wear it! Both the waistcoat and skirt have taken me a couple of months to make as I’m no good on a sewing machine, so everything was by hand, and I’ve had no training or classes in sewing, but I enjoyed making them!

Keep forgetting to update! Been a little quiet on the crafting front recently as I’ve been dress-making.
I was asked to make a last minute costume which I couldn’t find anything appropriate. However, I found a few things that I liked elements of, and cut them apart to use the bits I liked. This was the dress and used for a cosplay as Morgan Le Fey. I’m making two more dresses for an event, which are taking up all my time but I will post pictures when they’re done!

Over the last year I’ve slowly been making this absolute unit of a book fairy house. Nearly every single things is made by me. Each brick was moulded by me. Each leaf. The furnishings. So I’m excited for the advent house to finally start tomorrow! This was such a mammoth project, that I kind of hate the sight of it, but atleast everyone can enjoy the advent house 🤣
