Some eagerly awaited new releases today including the Spectre Squad, Exodite & the Combat Patrol Battlezone. Including the new Baneblade box! Which at the time of writing this post, we still have one old baneblade box.

There’s plenty of space for those on Battle Honours to swing by and complete any stamps today!

And there’s never been a better time to introduce your friends to warhammer with our store anniversary 3 weeks away!

It's the first Saturday of Orkgust and we've got a special Miniature of the Month for you all and we have a new coin this month when you spend £60 or more in store!

++ Summer of War part 4 ++

Hive Volcanus - Mountain Space Defence Port

The fight rages on, fires burn across Armageddon and it comes to a pivotal moment. The assault on the Mountain Space defence port. This will turn the tide of battle in favour of Ghazghkull or the Imperium. Who will you side with?
For what will be a first in many years, we will be hosting a large battle. 18 of you will decide the fate of Hive Volcanus in the Combat patrol battle. Between the hours of 1130 and 1630 on September 5th.
Coincidentally this is also the last day of the stores anniversary too!

++ The Summer Of War Part 3 ++

So! We’ve touched on Hive Volcanus, we’ve touched on earning points (there’s a full list in the store of how to earn them) and we’ve touched on This weeks Try something new with Heroes & their trusted retinue (this is a perfect Core Skills 1 Play activity)

But! Who are you going to pledge your allegiance with? The Mighty Imperium, the Brutal & Kunnin Orks, the wider Xenos or The pantheon of Chaos?

I started on a big Mek for my Bad Moons yesterday! However, I will be pledging my Allegiance to the Blood Angels with Captain Aphael & his Second Company.

+ + New Battle Honours Booklet + +

We have introduced a new Battle Honours book which has replaced our old booklet. The choice is yours to continue with your current one or you can come and exchange it for a new one! Battle honours is a fantastic way of starting your Warhammer adventure as many of you have or are currently using to enhance your hobby knowledge.

Through Battle Honours, you will tailor your own individual experiences whilst earning amazing rewards in the process that not only help your hobby but also reward your progress throughout your journey. It is a great way to learn new skills and techniques whether it’s building painting or even playing around this immersive hobby with a guided hand by us!

With the new inclusion of Core Skills, this makes it even more possible for new people entering into our worlds.

++ The Summer of War Part 2 ++
The War for Armageddon begins.

So! After getting together with some of my peers, there’s a really cool thing we’re doing in the South West.
What are we doing? We will all be fighting over different war zones on Armageddon. Truro in particular, Hive Volcanus & its surrounding areas.

You will earn points for completing different tasks in store which I will publish on Tuesday what the points are!

To start with, over the next week our first stage is mustering! You will pick your alliance, Imperium (Headed by the mighty Blood Angels second company under Captain Aphael) or Orks (under the banner of Warboss Nazdreg of the bad moons). To other Xenos and Chaos players, you havnt been forgotten! Your choices will be determined by your free will as where you want to put your points (sneak preview below) to represent the tides of battle shifting. (Maybe you want to sabotage a key imperial supply line? Or maybe, you want to collect some Ork skulls for Khorne?)

From Tuesday 28th, come in and declare your alliance which will earn you 1point.
You will earn 2pts for any Combat Patrol or Warhammer 40,000 starter set purchased from July 25th. (Keep your receipts from Saturday so you can show me as I’ve been up north) these points will correlate to Reinforcement pins on the map which will be in store.
You will earn a further 3 points when you bring in someone who’s never tried the hobby and they get started with Warhammer. So come in this week, declare your alliance and get started!

This is just a taster! I will reveal more this week.

+++ NEW WARHAMMER 40K STARTER SETS +++

Today sees the release of a whole host of awesome ways to get started with Warhammer 40,000!

The Starter set is the best way to discover thrilling battles with two complete combat patrols and all the scenery you need to make your battles look truly epic!

The introductory set has two unique miniatures to that box! And a nice entry point!

Getting Started Orks or Space Marines gives you a combat patrol, 13 paints and a texture spreader & brush, a really epic way to get stuck in with a collection.

++ Summer of War 2026 ++

Your leaders are only as strong as their troops and trusted retinues. How do they interact in the new edition of Warhammer 40,000?
From next week, after my annual leave (July 28th) you can find out first hand how they can support your leaders in games of Warhammer 40,000!

Feel free to bring your own Character and an accompanying battle line unit along with your army book OR we can let you use one from our selection in store if you want to try something new! This is a perfect bring a friend opportunity.

Join us in-store for a FREE Play activity, have a go and learn what your units can do in 11th edition! You can earn 4 Play stamps in your battle honours book too!
