We also sell a delightful range of gorgeous fabrics, books, kits, notions, and novelty buttons, dolls and Santa’s hair and accessories, threads, wire hangers of many shapes and sizes; must-have gifts and e
quipment for every stitcher-- everything you could need to put a special finishing touch on your project. We offer a fast and efficient, personalised mail order service; if the item is in stock we aim to dispatch it within 48 hours, or order it for you from our wholesalers if the item is out of stock. These include workshops in patchwork, quilting, bears and dolls, bags, cushions, stitcheries, and embroidery. We also run "block of the month" programmes where customers subscribe to receive the pattern and materials to put together a beautiful quilt or wallhanging over a series of months. These can be pieced together at monthly workshops held for subscribers, or in the comfort of your own home! Coast & Country Crafts and Quilts began life as a mobile shop in 2003, when founder Sally Snapes would load her car with baskets of fat quarters and patterns and travel around Cornwall, Devon, and Somerset, making regular visits to village halls and community centres, where she set up shop for crafters and quilters to come and enjoy browsing and shopping at their leisure. In Spring 2008, Coast & Country Crafts and Quilts was also established as an online shop, enabling customers around the globe to shop for all the delightful products that we have to offer at any time. In December 2009, we opened our new country store opened its doors at Cornish Garden Nurseries, Barras Moor Village, Perranarworthal; between Truro and Falmouth on the A39 (accessed from the big lay-by).
