We had this lovely little Fiat 500 in for a much needed audio upgrade. Customer supplied all the kit but didn’t fancy cutting up the air vent, so asked us to install it. Customer went for the ever popular Kenwood DMX7722DABS Apple CarPlay / Android Auto head unit.

Back at Scoobybits Subaru Specialists. First off was this lovely classic Impreza, to remove a failed Sigma alarm. We then installed our new Avital pager alarm, which will show on the pager remote when the alarm is set off and works up to a 1/4 of mile away.

Secondly, was this Forester, to remove another failed Sigma alarm. In this was we only installed a remote locking kit, due to the car having a tonne of work done to it. We will be installing a pager alarm to it soon.

Back at Scoobybits Subaru Specialists for a couple of jobs. First up was a front dash cam in Karen’s Forester; we chose the Thinkware F790 for this job. As with all Thinkware cameras, it uses an app to download any footage if needed.

Second up was to update the head unit in this gorgeous classic Impreza, from the Japanese equipment. As always, our go to head units are Kenwood, for this one we chose the DMX8021DABS. This has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, DAB+ and normal FM/AM radio. As you can see from the pictures, a lot of equipment was removed, including the Tein suspension controller.

We had this customer in for a Thinkware front and rear dash cam. Customer chose the fairly newly released ARC700, which has a 4K quality HD front camera and a 2K quality rear dash cam. As with all Thinkware cameras, it comes with an app to download any footage as needed.

We went out to this beautiful Ducato camper, as the customer wanted a dedicated camper sat nav. We managed to source Kenwood’s camper sat nav screen; this head unit allows you to add in the dimensions and weight of the camper, so that it will avoid narrow lanes and low bridges etc. Customer also asked us to fit front parking sensors, to which we added a can bus parking sensor relay, so that the sensors only work from 0-6mph. He also wanted an override switch, so that he could turn it off completely. He also wanted an extra electrical socket, put by the side door, which runs off the power inverter for when they are not on mains hook up. Lastly, the customer uses a Starlink mini for he internet, when he is out in the camper and didn’t like the cable just going through a window. We added in a waterproof socket on the outside of the camper, to a power adapter inside a cubby cabinet.

Here we have my neighbours new Transit Custom, which he has just bought. First up was to secure it, so we used the Clifford 330X3 can bus alarm, which works through the standard key fob. We removed the standard ultrasonics and installed our Clifford ultrasonics in their place, so it would look OEM. We also added in our anti peel sensors in the rear.

We installed his secondary battery, to power his pumps etc in the rear. We used a Victron dc-dc charger to keep this topped up. We then installed the 2 pumps and controllers in the rear.
