A survey of over 3,500 patients reported a "massive" reduction in use of other prescription medicines after starting medical cannabis, with large drops in opioids and sleep drugs and fewer side‑effects.

The data showed an average 84.5 per cent decrease across prior medications, with more than half of respondents (average 58.9 per cent) stopping at least one medicine entirely.

"Medical cannabis should not be a last-resort treatment,” said Dr Julian Wichmann, co-founder and chief executive of Bloomwell, who ran the survey.

A new wave of research is challenging one of the biggest assumptions in modern dating: men often find women more attractive when they wear less makeup.

But here’s the twist most people miss — the studies don’t say makeup is unnecessary. They show that men consistently misjudge how much makeup women are actually wearing. What many men call “natural” is usually still makeup… just applied well.

It exposes something deeper: beauty standards aren’t built on facts — they’re shaped by culture, habit, and personal bias, even when people don’t realise it.

So the real question is…
Do men actually prefer “less makeup”?
Or do they just not know when it’s there?

What do you think — true or not?
