📏 25 metres of rubber profile... all coiled by hand. 💪

Not every rubber extrusion is straightforward to handle.

This 25-metre profile required careful handling and teamwork to coil correctly. To support the profile throughout the process, a stack of pallets was used to help maintain the shape of the coil and protect the material from damage.

It's another example of the skill, experience and practical problem-solving that goes into manufacturing larger rubber extrusions.

🎓 A warm welcome to Charlie!

We're pleased to welcome Charlie to COH Baines for a 6-week work placement as part of his studies at Liverpool Life Sciences. 👏

During his time with us, Charlie will be gaining hands-on experience across our Engineering, Quality and Production departments, giving him valuable insight into the world of manufacturing.

He'll also have the opportunity to learn from our experienced engineering team, Dave and Josh, developing practical skills and gaining valuable industry knowledge along the way.

Supporting young people as they take their first steps into manufacturing is something we're proud to be part of, and we look forward to seeing Charlie's skills and confidence grow over the coming weeks.
