Classical Ballet Tutus by Jane Parker Alphabetty Designs tutu’s are the stiff pancake or romantic design and all are individually made and designed to your requirements.

The classical ballet tutu consists of a panelled bodice and basque with a 9-12 layered stiff net skirt. Bodice and skirt (the plate) decoration are designed to order and can be embellished with pearls, crystals and appliqués. A tutu must fit like a glove and not dip at the front or rise at the back and certainly not any sagging knickers! So up to three fittings will be required. All Alphabetty tut

Having been a dancer I have been privileged to dance in some incredible tutus and some not so perfect! So I know how a tutu should make you feel and more importantly how it should fit. Absolutely thrilled for these fabulous dancers!! 2nd time World Champions for their musical theatre trio!! I loved making these costumes - the brief was 1960's party in their signature colours (same colours as their first Dance World Cup win!) of pink, lilac and mint with each colour being incorporated into the design - I had a blast working it all out and they were much admired in the workshop! What an amazing achievement for for them - wonderful news to wake up to this morning 🩷💜💚

Another beautiful dancer all through to the AED Finals!! A big well done!! In my typical fashion this is another tutu I have not shared! This tutu was made in February 2025, she picked such a sparkly tulle to decorate her tutu with a beautiful pale pink bodice 🩷

Absolutely thrilled for this beautiful dancer - 1st place for her ballet at the Regional Finals so now off to the AED Finals in Eastbourne 🧡. This is her 2nd tutu from me!! This time she picked a gorgeous soft peach with a gold trim and the most fabulous peach roses. Such a gorgeous tutu to make!!
