Out with the old, in with the NEW!

This home cinema system was lacking a proper centre channel speaker - the original item being a regular in-ceiling speaker with a swiveling tweeter which doesn't do too well as a ceiling mounted centre speaker.

This beautiful Triad speaker looks and sounds a hundred times better! Previously the AVR was having to compensate for the centre speaker's lack of direction and power handling, but now it feeds the same level of audio as it does to the floor-standing left and right channel speakers.

It's finished off a colour matched grill - although it goes without saying, the 20-something year old paint on the ceiling doesn't quite look as fresh as it perhaps once did.

This little cinema room is 99% complete... just waiting on the builder to finish the projector shelf.

The 108" screen is really stretching the throw distance capabilities of the projector, but should be a perfect fit when done.

And then calibration time!
