It's Christmas!
The elves here have literally just finished for Christmas. What a busy period this last month has been.
We designed our festive rosettes 1-2 months ago, all are our own designs and printed (centres and ribbons) in-house. We are pleased to say that these bespoke rosettes have proved to be very popular. The Champion and Reserve shown are the last rosettes to be posted before the big day.

That leaves us 2 things to do. Firstly, to wish all of our customers a very merry Christmas and a happy, healthy 2025. We thank you for your valued custom, which has kept us so busy - and look forward to next year, which is already looking healthy in the order book.

Oh, yes, and the other thing is to tidy up the workshop, which, presently represents what can happen when a rainbow has too many sprouts!

Hi there, everyone. Can you believe it's October already? We don't seem to have stopped!
In the past few weeks, we've been amongst the cobwebs and pumpkins, 2 of our designs are shown here, for placings and personalised, both are proving popular. 😁
Well, we thought it was high time we updated you with what's been going on here at Deerswood. A lovely lady from a charity in Edinburgh called us a while ago, wanting to discuss options for their 140-year anniversary show. Working together, we came up with the rosettes shown, all logoed up, including bling!. They were a pleasure to make, and even better we got to see some of the cutest recipients, which we are happy to share here with you. All past inhabitants of the home, aren't they lovely ?😁
We were also pleased to help out Neighfield Shows, local to us, extremely popular events, which are all fully subscribed.
In between, we have made rosettes and sashes for dog shows, birthdays, parties, trucks, cattle, several charities, even, sadly, a funeral. You never know what your next order will be. That's what makes this job so enjoyable.
And now, dare I say it (sorry) we are getting the glitter out! Yes, it's time to start Christmas, and we are getting some fab new designs and ribbons ready.
If you need anything, just shout, we're pretty busy, but we are also masters of juggling time, look forward to sending further updates, as we steam our way towards Santa's arrival, in the meanwhile enjoy our recent photos 😁

Hello from a very sunny Scotland, at last summer seems to have arrived!
Rain, hail or shine we've been getting some great orders together. Before that we got some photos back from 2 flower shows, one in the West Midlands and one in Sussex of the winners of our fab National Sweet Pea Society rosettes, awarded to the Best vase of Sweet Peas in the show.
We've been busy making birthday rosettes, and more flower show orders, badges, and photo rosettes! This one is my ragdoll "Surprise" we can print very high quality centres with your favourite photos, great for many uses.
Believe it or not we are now turning our attention to designing a new Halloween rosette for 2024. What do you think to the one shown here? All feedback is most welcome. We will have more news in August, until then enjoy the summer!

After an avalanche of election rosettes, we have orders for a lot of blank rosettes, plus dog shows, and our small show sets are flying out the door, too. We get to speak to so many interesting people on our travels. One lady in particular this last week was an absolute pleasure to work with. Amongst others, she asked us to design the very large rosette shown below. We were delighted to hear she was over the moon with the rosette. That's twice in the last few working days that the designer section on our website has been used to its full potential. We have a busy week ahead, and I know I keep saying it, but we will have some sash designs coming soon! Hope everyone has a great week 😄

Here we are in June already, we are keeping really busy with the election rosettes, some, I wish I could share with you as the candidates have been putting together some humerous messages for their rosettes. Deerswood election rosettes have travelled far and wide, to Suffolk, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Devon and Cornwall, Tyneside and Kent so far, and we wish all candidates well in the forthcoming election.
The National Sweet Pea Society rosettes have all gone out, there will be some lucky recipients of those beauties. We also have Father's Day rosettes, New Baby rosettes, Happy birthday ones, show sets, graduation awards, some new championship rosettes and much more. Our next post will be introducing our sashes, for every occasion. There is always something going on at Deerswood! We also have 2 ragdoll studs GCCF registered with the prefix Deerswood's who will soon be looking for ladies. They will have their own page (once we get some nice weather for photos), in the meanwhile here are some of the rosettes going out.

Two colourways for the National Sweet Pea Society rosettes for 2024. Being a sweet pea exhibitor myself I've thoroughly enjoyed designing and making these. This rosette will be up for winning in local shows (Aberdeenshire for now but likey to be rolled out U.K wide) which have a sweet pea section. These will be awarded to the best vase in the section.
